Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to make an impact in the medical device industry? We're seeking a hands-on engineer to support the design, development, testing, and manufacturing of innovative electro-opto-mechanical medical devices.
? Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot analog and digital electrical systems
? Support complex electro-opto-mechanical medical device development projects
? Create and maintain schematics, PCBAs, BOMs, and engineering documentation
? Perform circuit analysis, hardware integration, component selection, and root cause analysis
? Support manufacturing by troubleshooting production issues and improving yields
? Develop assembly, inspection, troubleshooting, and test procedures
? Lead prototype builds, NPI activities, design transfers, and sustaining engineering projects
? Apply DFMA principles to improve quality, reliability, cost, and manufacturability
? Develop and debug embedded software, firmware, and manufacturing test applications
? Create automated test solutions, diagnostic tools, scripts, and test fixtures
? Manage engineering changes through ECO/ECN processes
? Participate in verification, validation, electrical safety, EMC/EMI, FMEA, and risk management activities
? Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams
? Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
? 5+ years of electrical, hardware, systems, or manufacturing engineering experience
? Strong background in analog and digital circuit design
? Experience with embedded systems and hardware/software integration
? Hands-on experience designing and troubleshooting electronic hardware
? Experience supporting manufacturing, production, and product releases
? Strong analytical and root cause investigation skills
? Excellent communication and project management abilities
? Medical device industry experience
? PCB design tools such as Altium, Cadence, Mentor Graphics, or similar
? Embedded software or firmware development using C/C++, Python, LabVIEW, or similar languages
? Manufacturing test systems, fixtures, and automated testing solutions
? DFMA, ECO/ECN processes, and engineering documentation
? EMC/EMI testing, electrical safety, FMEA, risk management, and GMP environments
? Compensation up to $160,000 annually
